The owner and patent holder of the Socklock™ has been an avid sportsman and outdoorsman for 30 years. He began to appreciate the benefits of quality footwear at an early age due to a footshape that invited heal blisters. Once he began enjoying the benefits of the best footwear, he likewise realized that laundry drains consider single socks a delicacy and, if not lost there, the introverted nature of socks makes them flee their mates with uncanny success. Traveling and backpacking exert their own special powers to separate socks. Furthemore, the absolute worst job in the world, especially in medium to large families, is sorting socks. And the source of countless palms-to-the-forehead are the attendant mis-sorting which expose the wearer to sock-mismatch ridicule.

To solve all of these problems, our inventor spent 7 long years testing various methodologies and working on patents and production issues when he finally arrived at a process that was both people, price and production friendly. Many said the tab and link system would never work; others said it was ugly. The inventor and his friends and family learned to love a system that proved to be inconspicuous, reliable and affordable. The morning Mr. Inventor found his Dahlgreen Lt Hikers still hanging on a branch in a Utah campground after a wild night of rain and tent- toppling wind, he knew he had something worthwhile.

When it was time to bring Socklock™ to market, we decided to start where the satisfaction would be highest, on quality adult and kids activity socks. We hope that our link system will save our customers a few minutes a week sorting and a whole lot of sock-replacement money.
